Guidlines for the Sessions
The organizing committee wants to allow attendees to move between different sessions. In addition to keeping the time slots, this means that if a presentation is canceled, the time slot will remain without a presentation. As a speaker, please keep the following in mind to ensure your presentation runs smoothly;
- Introduction: The chairperson will briefly introduce you by name and the title of your presentation.
- Timing: You have 15 minutes for your presentation, followed by approximately 3 minutes for questions. Please be mindful of the time, as the chairperson will signal when you have 5 minutes and 1 minute remaining.
- For workshops: You will have 38 minutes in total. The chairperson will also manage time notifications for these sessions.
- Transitions: After each presentation, during the question and answer session, it is advisable for the next presenter to prepare by connecting their laptop and presentation.
- If possible please check your laptop connection and presentation during one of the breaks or lunch. All rooms will be unlocked during the conference.
- Session etiquette: Please do not to change sessions while presentations or workshops are in progress.
By adhering to these guidelines, you will help maintain the session schedule and create a smooth experience for everyone involved.
Have a nice conference!
