Universitetets forskning ska enligt visionen vara av hög kvalitet och bidra till ny forskning. Allt eftersom samhÀllet utvecklas kommer nya möjligheter och nya krav pÄ strukturer omkring forskningen sÄsom hur forskningsdata ska hanteras, hur ansökningar om medel ska utformas o.s.v. Forskningssamarbeten över organisations-och landsgrÀnser stÀller krav pÄ nya digitala stöd som stödjer forskningen. En god kunskap om forskares behov och förutsÀttningar och ett utvecklingsinriktat arbete kring hur behoven och förutsÀttningarna kan mötas och stÀrkas behöver mot dÀrför innehÄlla aspekten digital utveckling.

About the Focus Area
According to the vision, the university’s research must be of high quality and contribute to new research. As society develops, new opportunities and new requirements for structures around research arise, such as how research data should be handled, how applications for funding should be designed, and so on. Research collaborations across organizational and national boundaries place demands on new digital supports that support research. Good knowledge of researchers’ needs and conditions and a development-oriented work on how the needs and conditions can be met and strengthened need therefore contain the aspect digital development.
