For psychiatrists, other physicians, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and academic teachers, the message was clear: structured online modules and handbooks can\u202fstandardize core skills\u202f(risk detection, safety planning, compassionate postvention) while\u202flowering access barriers\u202ffor students and busy clinicians. Building on these results,\u202fERE (2025\u20132027) \u2013 led by Karlstad University \u2013 adds\u202finteractive scenarios, Q&amp;A, and new languages\u202fand expands country reach, inviting Polish institutions to contribute data, co-create content, and pilot updated materials in teaching and clinical settings&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Highlights:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From ELLIPSE (2019\u20132022) \u2192 ELLIPSE Postvention (2023\u20132024) \u2192 ERE (2025\u20132027)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Origins (Feb 2019):\u202fELLIPSE began from a small network meeting of three people representing lived-experience worlds &#8211; a psychiatrist,\u202fa person bereaved by suicide, and\u202fa person with experience of suicidality &#8211; sparking an European, and then also worldwide educational initiative in prevention and postvention.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>New phase &#8211; ELLIPSE Resilience Enhancement (ERE, 2025\u20132027, lead: Karlstad University) \u2013 Johanna Gustafsson, Victoria L\u00f6nnfjord &amp; Anna Baran:\u202fmore\u202finteractivity,\u202fregular updates, and\u202fwider language\/country rollout &#8211; from Austria, Hungary, Norway, Poland &amp; Sweden in ELLIPSE to\u202fBelgium, Germany, Lithuania, Spain, Ukraine, Poland &amp; Sweden in ERE&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Early evaluation highlights of the Polish version of in\u202fELLIPSE Gatekeeper+\u202fCourse in Prevention of Suicide Behaviours &amp; ELLIPSE Postvention (Navoica platform; Oct 2024\u2013Jun 2025)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Participation:\u202f2,310 enrolled in the Polish version of the course (155 completed surveys); 818 in\u202fthe ELLIPSE Postvention Course\u202f(34 completed surveys).&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Usefulness:\u202f100% of Postvention respondents and 87.7% of the ELLIPSE Gatekeeper+ respondents said the course helped them achieve their goals.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fit:\u202f\u226590% rated difficulty appropriate; most rated length as appropriate.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Next steps in ERE:\u202fmore\u202finteractive modules,\u202frisk scenarios,\u202fQ&amp;A, and\u202fSpanish\u202fadded to the existing PL\/EN\/NO\/DE\/SV\/HU\/UK versions.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What\u2019s next for universities &amp; services?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A new ERE project is launching a survey of\u202fstudents, academic teachers, and campus mental-health services to map\u202feducation and training in suicide prevention\u202facross, to adapt optimally the suicide prevention&nbsp;curriculum to the academic needs in the project countries.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who participated?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Clinicians &amp; educators:\u202ffree, scalable\u202fe-learning + handbooks\u202fto standardize suicide prevention skills and postvention practice.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students &amp; trainees:\u202fevidence-based introductions with practical checklists and scenarios; forthcoming\u202fERE updates increase interactivity and language reach.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>References:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>48th Zjazd Naukowy Polskiego Towarzystwa Psychiatrycznego.
