Theme: AI in teaching and examination – opportunities and challenges
Generative AI continues to evolve, and technology is advancing at a rapid pace. Much is still uncertain, but one thing is certain: AI is here to stay. Those of us working in higher education therefore need to find ways to address the challenges and opportunities AI bring, especially in relation to teaching and examinations.
Many of our students already using AI. At the same time, they need to be prepared for a future professional life where AI is a part of society. However, navigating the complex AI landscape as a teacher is no easy task. We believe that it can be valuable to discuss, collaborate, and share experiences on these issues to find possible solutions and approaches together.

Seize the opportunity to showcase what´s happening in your course or program related to AI in teaching and examination. Current and pressing questions for the development day could include:
- What have you developed or changed in your teaching and examination related to AI?
- In what ways has AI changed your and/or your student´s everyday life?
When you submit your contribution, you will be able to choose from two different options:
- Oral presentation in lecture hall (20 minutes).
- Presentation and in-depth discussion with a small group (40 minutes). This option can also be set up as a workshop.
We also welcome contributions on teaching and examination outside the theme om AI.
Send in your contribution by the botton to the right no later than June 14 2024. Please note that this year we will have a limited number of presentations in the lecture hall. This may mean that some of you who wish for an oral presentation will instead be offered a presentation and in-depth conversation with a smaller group.
