On Thursday September 25, the Centre for Teaching and Learning (UPE), invites you to this year’s higher educational development day, where you have the opportunity to exchange experiences, have collegial discussions and take part in various development work on sustainability. The development day is free of charge and will be carried out on site at Kau.
Theme: Sustainability
Humanity faces several significant challenges related to resources, the environment, and global justice. To address these challenges, goals for sustainable development have been formulated at various societal levels, from the global to the local, in both public and private contexts. Education plays a central role in achieving these goals.
We, as employees at Kau, need to gain greater knowledge in the field of sustainable development to be able to work according to Karlstad University’s vision: We systematically promote social, economic, and environmentally sustainable societal development.
Also this year we have an ‘open track’, where the content can be about something other than sustainable development.
