During the final week of August some 50 scholars gathered in Karlstad to discuss and theorise what we call critical knowledge interventions. Another way to put this is that we tried to formulate ways of knowledge production that we argue is needed in times marked by the rise of fascist movements, democratic backsliding, rapid technological development, radical inequality and existential threats such as nuclear war and climate change.
