Teach like a champion (TLC-2403)

The aim of the course is to enable participants to expand their pedagogical toolbox by exploring and investigating a variety of techniques that can enrich their own teaching practice.

The course largely relies on individual reading of the course book. Note that it is important to have access to the book right from the start of the course, as the second course session consists of a literature seminar.

The examination consists of the participants conducting micro-lessons for each other, where several of the techniques from the book should be implemented.

The course is given on Campus. The teaching language is in English.

 

Course objectives

After the course, the participants should be able to:

  1. Explain the pros and cons of teaching techniques presented in the course.
  2. Plan and apply teaching techniques presented in the course in their own teaching.
