Teaching with AI: An update for Higher education (TAI-2610)
The course, “Teaching with AI: An Update for Higher Education” revisits the participants’ academic AI integration plan. It begins with a structured reflection on their experience with AI in teaching . The course then transitions to the current landscape of new AI developments and tools, and explores how they can be ethically and pedagogically integrated into their academic tasks. Finally, the participants reflect about their use and of AI in higher education and their future plans.
Course objectives
- Critically reflect on your past AI integration strategies and on new emerging AI technologies for educational relevance.
- Apply AI tools that incorporate new capabilities while maintaining academic integrity.
Course Literature
Target Group
The course is aimed at university staff, especially teachers from various departments who had completed the course “ChatGPT & AI: Academic Integration.” This course updates the audience with the most recent developments in the evolving field of AI, their impact in teaching in upper-education and academia in general, and revisits and discusses the results of AI integration plans.
