Building your pedagogical portfolio: Group supervision (BMP-2510)

Participants in the course will either develop their teaching portfolio with the help of the course coordinator, or develop an application to be appointed as Recognised or Distinguished university teacher, in both cases in collaboration with each other.

In the first option, the goal is to create a teaching portfolio of sufficient scope and quality so that the participants can be considered having “started a teaching portfolio” (SUHF’s recommendation 2016:1).

Please note that BMP in this case is aimed at those who are approaching 400 hours in higher education pedagogy and intend to validate their portfolio in the near future. Therefore, to get the most out of the BMP course, you should have completed other courses that include at least 300 hours of training before signing up. If you have not yet completed at least 300 hours, we recommend that you register for this course later. It is offered every semester.

In the second option, the goal is to write an application that meets the requirements of the “Model for acquisition of teaching qualifications” (RB 60/23).

Course participants choose whether they want to write their portfolio or application in Swedish or English.
