Sharpen your lecture (VDF-2511)
The course consists of four meetings, as well as reading and assignments that the participants are conducting between the meetings. The course combines theoretical parts with practical exercises.
Course objectives
After the course, the participants should be able to:
- select, organize and sequence relevant content based on the purpose of the lecture
- use various techniques to actively engage and involve students during the lecture
- present and explain subject content in a way that facilitates students’ understanding
- utilize the board or other presentation tools in a structured, clear and communicative manner
- use voice, speech, and body language in a conscious manner

Target Group
The course is aimed at university teachers who want to develop their skills in creating and implement lectures in a way that supports student learning.
