What is Ethical Hackarinas?

Ethical Hackarinas is an event designed to function as a training and networking opportunity with a special focus on empowering women who want to learn more about ethical hacking – regardless of their prior technical experience. However, we warmly welcome all participants who are interested in learning more about ethical hacking.
Ethical Hackarinas is an initiative within Cross Border Cyber Capacity (CBCC) which is a project co-funded by Interreg Sweden-Norway. The main goal of the project is to strengthen both nation’s capacity when it comes to cybersecurity and societal preparedness. Knowledge and awareness are key aspects of creating a robust structure for cybersecurity, so events like Ethical Hackarinas are important. And YOU are important.

About

April 8–9 marks the first Ethical Hackarinas event at Karlstad University.

We welcome everyone with an interest in the practical aspects of security, as well as those interested in the field and in broader conversations about inclusion and representation in tech. This is a hands-on event, so please bring your own computer. No prior technical knowledge is required!
