Facilitating communication among teachers, workshop on Canvas opportunities

Abstract
There exist many courses where multiple teachers are involved in a single course at Karlstad university. Depending on the course, not only does this reduce the heavy load of teaching in a course, but it also benefits the learning outcomes. However, in multi-teacher-based courses, there are some challenges when it comes to immediate communication and unified approaches in dealing with students. Specifically, in gray-zone instances where different feedback is given to students, resulting in seemingly divergent results. One possibly major issue is the risk for a lack of efficient communication among teachers, specifically within the course portal (Canvas) among teachers, which is not very common. From our experience, Canvas does not utilize teacher-to-teacher communication very well, and if so it is not known nor used by teachers.
This workshop targets teachers who are involved in multi-teacher courses and would like to contribute their perspectives and needs towards the development of approaches that facilitate efficient communication for teachers in Canvas.
