Pioneering cybersecurity for all on November 7-8, 2024, at Karlstad

November 7th – 8th marks the first conference in Security Divas Sweden, a network for women in tech and information security, or women who want to work in those fields. The conference welcomes everyone who has an interest in these fields and making the tech business more welcoming for women.
This conference will follow NordSec 2024 that runs November 6th and 7th same location with registration deadline 25th of October.
Aim
Security Divas Sweden aims to be a driving force in creating platforms where female talent in the field is highlighted, supported, and inspired to be part of the future of information security.
The ambition is to create an inclusive culture that breaks down barriers and promotes a new generation of women in the tech sector. The first network conference will be held on November 7-8 in Karlstad, and welcomes everyone who wants to contribute to elevating women in information security. The conference offers, among other things:
- Current and relevant lectures based on real experiences.
- Opportunities for broad and professional development in digital security.
- Excellent networking opportunities with industry colleagues.
Dates and venue:
November 7th: Registration begins at 13:30, program starts at 14:00, then networking dinner at 19.00.
November 8th: Program starts at 09:00, lunch, then end around 14:00.
Location will be at Eva Eriksson, 21A 342, Karlstad University, Karlstad, Sweden
Registration and cost
Register HERE by October 31. Registration is binding but can be transferred to another person.
Participation cost is 500 SEK (includes networking dinner at Clarion Collection Hotel Plaza on November 7 and lunch at Solsta Inn (Karlstad University) on November 8).

The program will feature invited talks from local and national practitioners and experts from industry, academia and government on cybersecurity topics.
