(O1) Development of an innovative industrial doctoral training programme and training network in cybersecurity, building on the universities’ complementary cybersecurity expertise and scientific competence, in cooperation with Swedish industry. A doctoral programme with doctoral courses in cybersecurity will be offered, which will help address the gaps in cybersecurity skills in Sweden and strengthen the participating universities’ existing doctoral programmes.
(O2) Establishing university-industry collaboration and co-production of doctoral research projects in cybersecurity for the following purposes:
- Jointly address cybersecurity needs and challenges that Swedish industry must meet,
- Promote Swedish industrial research competence and expertise in cybersecurity,
- Strengthen the cybersecurity research profiles at the participating universities, both nationally and internationally.
(O3) Cooperation with related actors, such as the Swedish IT Security Network (SWITS) and the Cybercampus Sweden initiative, to build a sustainable network of postgraduate course modules for industrial cybersecurity research education in Sweden, which can be maintained even after the end of the projects.
