Abegondo meeting

Finally we could meat face to face. Not all could attend though, but they could attend digitally. In the beautiful village of Abegondo we discussed the results from survey. It became evident that the partnership of Transit was set up by actors operating in different contexts. Yet, we could also identify common challenges and needs. To collect data on best practices we defined a template, usable by all actors. We wanted to know experiences from our organisations on how to raise awareness on sustainable mobility topic. All partners presented two practices each and then we discussed them in depth. An important aspect in our discussions was how other European actors, as civil servants and environmental association should be able to utilize out practices, and their potential impacts.

Another important item on the agenda was to prepare for the two e-learning modules we should develop. We decided on a more theoretical module and on more practical. At the same time we were keen on bridging theoretical and practical knowledge as much we could.

Our hosts invited us to two study trip: First, a visit to A Coruna and bicycle tour alongside the coast, illustrating their work to support bicycling in the town. Second, a trip to Santiago de Compostela and the final part of El Camino.
