Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the University of Bergamo (Italy) will host the ATEE (Association for Teacher Education in Europe) Spring Conference 2024: “Teacher education research in Europe: trends, challenges, practices and perspectives” [https://ateespring2024.unibg.it].

The event will take place from May 29th to June 1st, 2024 at the University of Bergamo and is promoted by the CQIIA (Centre for Teaching Quality, Teaching Innovation and Learning) and the Department of Human and Social Sciences.

The conference will be organised in 5 parallel thematic sessions with the following thematic focuses:
1. Teacher education and pedagogical perspective in uncertain times: history, theory, policies and practices;
2. Digital innovation and artificial intelligence (AI): schools, teachers and students between real and virtual world;
3. Inclusion in teaching and learning processes and school improvement;
4. Teaching and learning challenges and professional development;
5. School & work and the role of teachers in Vocational Education and Training.

It is possible to submit a proposal either as an ‘oral presentation’ or as a ‘poster’.
